The Socotra visa

You do not apply for the Socotra visa yourself. We arrange it for you. Send us a copy of your passport and we handle the rest — but allow two to three weeks before you travel.

How it works

Send us a copy of your passport and we do the rest. There is no form for you to fill in and no embassy appointment to make.

Allow two to three weeks before you travel. That is the part worth planning around: it is the reason to talk to us before you book anything else, rather than after.

02

What it costs

The visa fee is paid separately from the tour price. It is not included in what you pay for the tour itself.

We do not publish a figure here. Ask us and we will tell you the current amount and how it is paid — we would rather give you a number that is right on the day than leave a stale one on a page.

03

Who we cannot arrange one for

The Socotra visa is not available to holders of Israeli passports. We say so plainly because it is better to know now than to find out late.

04

The visa and the flight together

The return flight from Jeddah and the Socotra visa are arranged on request, or you can book your own flight. Neither is included as standard in the tour price.

Tickets for the Jeddah route cannot be booked online — the booking has to be made by a licensed operator on the island, which is part of what we can handle for you on request.

If you are working out dates, start with the two to three weeks the visa needs and count backwards. Tell us roughly when you want to come and we will tell you whether it is realistic.

Ask us anything

Itineraries are sent on request. Message us and we will reply personally.
